Obituary of Anita Faye McKinnon

Anita Faye McKinnon, 72, of Whittier, CA, passed away on January 30, 2016. The private family memorial service was held on Saturday, February 6, 2016. Cremation arrangements have been handled by Rose Family Funeral Home & Cremation. Anita was born in Basin, WY in 1943. She graduated from Basin High School at 17 years of age trained for the secretarial world. Anita was married to Malcolm McKinnon in 1963. They were married seven years. They had two children together, Jim and Laurie. Anita worked for a mining company, The City of Oxnard, an airline, and several insurance companies. She last worked as an Account Manager in the Entertainment Department of Wells Fargo Insurance until she retired. She enjoyed traveling, playing games with friends and family, beading, bingo, and going to the casinos once a month. She mostly enjoyed spending time with family. Anita is survived by her sisters, Jo and Martha; her children, Jim and Laurie; their spouses, Robin and Alan; her grandsons, Steve, Kevin, Will and Michael, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends. The family of Anita Faye McKinnon wishes to thank all of those who have supported them during this time of loss.
