She ventured west to California after graduating High School and her family soon followed. Anne attended Mount Saint Mary's College. She worked as a teacher for LAUSD for a few years and it is there that she met the Love of her life "Roy". Together they had 4 children (Erik, Kristin, Alison and Matt). Anne lived at the same address for the next 60 years. Anne loved to cook, bake, entertain and travel! Her love of travel took her and her family to many places around the whole USA. In the 1980's her love of painting really took off. Her beautiful paintings are hung all around her home and the homes of family and fiends as Roy refused to sell any of them stating that they were all masterpieces! Over the years Anne had 10 Grandchildren! She became Granny Annie and it stuck! Anne was a constant entertainer sometimes having up to 10 parties over Christmas. Anne also loved her garden and animals, especially dogs and in her later years thought all our dogs were hers! Anne loved going to church and all of her St Mel friends. She loved going to plays at Pepperdine and listening to classical music. She was an active member of "The Right to Life League" and "The Women's Republican Club". After suffering a stroke in 2017 and being hospitalized in various places she was finally able to come back home. She spent the last 18 months of her life at her own home with her wonderful caretaker "Nelva". We will be forever grateful to Nelva for helping to provide her with so much love and care.
