Obituary of Paula Marie Grillo

Please share a memory of Paula to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

In loving memory of Paula Marie Grillo who passed away on March 21, 2021 at the age of 82 in Simi Valley, CA.

Paula is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Lisa Bradley; son-in-law, Brian Bradley; grandchildren, Samantha, Sean, Brianna, and Brian Thomas; great-grandchildren, MacKinley and Reagan Bradley; and adoring pets, Francine Grillo and Zachary Bradley. Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Santo Joseph Grillo and her son, John Michael Grillo.

Paula Marie Grillo was born on July 15, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York and was the oldest daughter to Michael and Antoinette Monte. In 1958, Paula married Santo Grillo, known as Sam, and they had a loving marriage of 60 years until his passing. Paula was a stay-home-mom early in her marriage, but later worked in the brokerage industry for over 20 plus years. She excelled as a brokers assistant and later earned her broker’s license at the age of 60. She was a meticulous and creative woman and this shined through everything she touched.

Throughout her life Paula enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially time with her grandchildren, who meant the world to her. She was generous and kind hearted to all she met, and she will be sorely missed by all. But she will never be forgotten, especially her infectious laugh.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church on Wednesday, April 14th at 11:00 a.m. with Father Joseph Shea of St. Rose of Lima officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Park located at 22601 Lassen Street, Chatsworth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at this website https://www.stjude.org/give/memorials-and-dedications.html

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to everyone who reached out during this difficult time.
