Pop Pop - Thank you for being a grandfather to me for the past 2 decades, nearly half my life. You've been so kind, generous, and funny, always greeting me with a kiss on each cheek and a "Hiya, Heidi!" I'm so thankful that you have been there for all the big milestones in Jeff's life: high school, college, & MFA graduations, our wedding, the births of our children, every holiday and birthday party. Thank you for the memories and we will miss you and your calming presence at the head of our table. Give a double kiss to Nanny for us. I love you, Your granddaughter, Heidi

Dad thank you for being such a wonderful and amazing dad. Anyone can be a father but it takes someone very special to hold the title of dad. I really hope you are happy and with Mom and Georgie and all of our other loved ones. I know you did not want to leave and hung on for a long time. I love you very much and I always will.

I have one recent memory that I’d like to share when we saw pop on the camera out of bed and sitting in a wheelchair, I ran down and said what are you doing up how do you get into the wheelchair. And he said it wasn’t easy. That was our typical pop.
