My thoughts and prayers are for my family on the recent passing of my dad Donald E Miller.
My dad was someone who wanted to catch you before you fall, but instead picks you up, brushes you off, and lets you try again. He was someone who wanted to keep you from making mistakes, but instead lets you find your own way, even though his heart breaks in silence when you get hurt. My dad is someone who holds you when you cry, scolds you when you break the rules, shines with pride when you succeed, and has faith in you even when you fail. That is my dad.
This world won’t be the same without my dad. Your absence is so fresh I don’t know how to begin to grieve. I trust the grief will come and that God, will walk me through those days.
I love you dad and will always remember the summers we traveled together as a family throughout the States. You showed us the world and helped me appreciate what life had to offer. You have truly left us a legacy!
