When I'd heard what happened, I just couldn't believe it. So kind, so pure, she shined as bright as day. I don't know if she ever truly believed it, but that doesn't make it any less true. I'd known Chessa since the 1st grade, and I always loved her company. She inspired me and made me feel good about putting real thought into my words and my actions as we were growing up. And though we lost touch around the time Valley View came into our lives, I never stopped admiring her. Truly a gem. I am sending everyone she ever touched light and love, and to her, wherever her spirit might now lie.
