Please share a memory of Lillian to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lillian Delois “Victoria” Peabody of Thousand Oaks, California, 77, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017, in Northridge, California. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mary’s Church at Oakwood Memorial Park, Chatsworth, California, on Monday, March 13, 2017, at 10am with Reverend Karen Ohlson of Granada Hills Presbyterian Church officiating. A graveside committal service l will follow at Oakwood Memorial Park, Willows East, 22601 Lassen Street, Chatsworth, California. Rose Family Memorial Services are handling the funeral arrangements. Victoria was born in Monroe, Arkansas to James C. and Jeanette Triplett on December 3, 1939. She went to high school in North Little Rock, Arkansas and spent the first half of an illustrious career trailblazing the way for future women in management for a large motel chain in the south. She continued to carve a name for herself as one of the country’s independent leading sales representatives of custom apparel and premium gift shop items for theme parks, including Universal Studios, Six Flags Magic Mountain, NASA, Dollywood and the Kennedy Space Center. A creative maverick who was vibrant in every sense of the word, Victoria was also a multiple award-winning quilter whose stylish designs were great inspiration for her seamstress peers at Simi Valley Quilt Guild. Victoria Peabody is survived by daughter, Cynthia Lieberman and her husband Peter Lieberman, in Northridge, California, and grandchildren Elizabeth, Jake and Megan Lieberman; one sister, Bettie Sowers (David), two brothers, Bobby Triplett (Marilyn) and James "Skip" Triplett (Debbe). She is preceded by parents James C. and Jeanette Triplett. Memorial donations may be made to https://www.dressforsuccess.org/. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Kaiser Permanente and the Moorpark Healthcare Center for their services.
