Obituary of Shawn Corcoran

Shawn Michael Corcoran 7/17/86 -10/21/12 Shawn died on 10/21 at simi valley hospital of causes related to a heart virus. He was born in Ventura, california on July 17, 1986 to Cheryl and Patrick Corcoran. He grew up in Ventura and attended Ventura county high. Shawn had many passions in life. He loved his family and cherished his many friendships. Shawn always loved sports, his favorite teams were the dodgers, lakers and Dallas cowboys. He had a strong passion for cars. Shawn loved to spend time with his father, they loved to take a drive, especially along the coast. Shawn enjoyed spending time with his mother and they shared a love of spicy food. Shawn loved his sister, Jennifer very much and he was so proud of her and her accomplishments. Whenever he needed advise he called his Sister. Shawn loved to cook and he was very good at it. He loved his dogs, and he had a nickname for each one. Shawn loved to spend time surrounded by the laughter of his family and friends. He is survived by his father, mother,sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, (Patrick, Cheryl and Jennifer). Funeral services for Shawn will be at 12:00 p.m. On Saturday, October 27th at Rose Family Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at a viewing at Rose's from 10:00 - 12:00 on Saturday, October 27th.
