I used to play high school golf with Dante, Johnny Schamp, and Donna Caponi at Knollwood GC in the ‘60’s. While having dinner at The Backwoods Restaurant in Canyon Country I met the bartender, Rita, and just learned of the sad news of Dante’s passing - very sad! He was a very formidable competitor and he will be missed in the golfing community, family, and friends!
