At 17 Art joined the Army ad served for 4 years. He went on to get married and have 4 children.

Although his love of helping others kept him very busy.. He always made sure to set aside time to enjoy some fun times with his kids. We will never forget the many trips our dad took us on to amusement parks, Griffith Observatory, The Reuben H. Fleet Space Theatre. Birthdays were also very special, our dad would give us the most giant slice of cake. He also had a love for classic horror movies, which he never failed to wake us kids up to watch one with him. These memories will be cherished forever.

Arturo was involved with many kids at the Teen Post taking them on fun trips and giving them a safe place to hang out.

He was a very active member in Azusa, always fighting for he good of the community.

In his late 40's he met Carol Falleta and they enjoyed each other company until the very end. Carol and Art took many trips together. They also enjoyed going to L.A. for lunch or dinner. San Fransisco was also a favorite spot of theirs!

Art also enjoyed seeing his grandchildren's faces light up as he showed up for a visit...as the kids knew Grandpa would bring a big bag filled with treats and unique and unusual gifts.

Art will be missed by so many but we find peace in knowing he is now reunited with his two son's. Moments with him will always be cherished memories. Art you will be missed.
