Obituary of Marina Sanchez Lano
Marina Sanchez “Lola” Lano, 89, of Tarlac Philippines, passed away on March 14, 2019 in Simi Valley, California.
Marina was born in Tarlac, Philippines to Emilio and Genoveva Sanchez on February 8, 1930. She was a loving mother, nurturing grandmother, and the matriarch of the family. She was a caregiver, amazing cook, and a devoted woman of God who attended Chesapeake First Church of the Nazarene and United Methodist Church of Simi Valley. She is loved and will be missed dearly.
Left to cherish her memory: six children, Alfredo Jr. (Irene), Estrella (Arthur), Eduardo (Priscila), Ernesto (Amy), Charlene (Norberto), Edgar (Lien); fourteen grandchildren: Jennifer, Hillary, Lisa, Edward, Heidi, Stacey, Crystal, Andrew, Emmanuel, Nestor, Janine, Norbert, Justin, Nathaniel; seven great grandchildren: Julian, Jayden, Jovi, Jonah, Hailey, Penelope, Thomas III. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50+ years, Alfredo Lano Sr.
The family welcomes guests at Rose Family Funeral Home, on Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 10AM-430PM for a viewing and memorial service to follow.
