Obituary of Kathleen Linda Long

Kathleen Linda Long, 67, of Moorpark, CA passed away from a long illness from multiple sclerosis with her family by her side. She entered Heaven’s gates on May 30^th, 2019.

She was born to Robert Burns and the late Patricia Burns on July 10^th, 1951, in Santa Monica, CA. She was married to her husband, Dale of 49 years.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend, Kathleen cherished her family and her friends. She loved the holidays, she had a passion for cooking and taught and created beautiful ceramic pieces. Most importantly, she was dedicated to her family and always put them before herself.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Dale, her father, Bob, her three daughters and their spouses, Teresa (Jim), Tammi (Tony) and Angela (Steve). She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Peter Barrett, her brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Sue Burns, and her six grandchildren, Kaylee, Maxx, Jillian, Madison, Johnny and Sierra as well as her three great-grandchildren, Cayden, Jaxxson and Pierson.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, June 29th, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Rose Family Funeral Home, 4444 Cochran Street, Simi Valley, CA 93063.
