Obituary of Tracy Kim Ember-Tapia

Tracy Kim Ember

Passed away March 8, 2022 in Rosemead, CA

Memorial Service to be held at Rose Family Funeral Home, 4444 Cochran St., Simi Valley, CA 93063.

   Tracy was born in Joliet, Illinois to Sharon Ember and George Ember on July 8, 1961. She received her High School Diploma from The Devereux Foundation in Devon, Pennsylvania in 1979. She continued her studies in Business Administration at California State University, Dominguez Hills, where she worked as a dispatcher for the campus Police Department and was also voted Homecoming Queen in 1985.

   Tracy’s favorite things to do when she was young were dancing, singing, ice skating, horseback riding and going to theme parks (like Disneyland and Magic Mountain). She also, loved caring for animals especially her cat Amy. Tracy later married and gave birth to two beautiful daughters, Selena and Maria, who became her pride and joy. During this time she very much enjoyed volunteering at Luther’s Attic in Moorpark.

   Tracy is survived by her daughters: Selena Jacqueline Tapia of Simi Valley, CA and Maria Teresa Tapia of Moorpark, CA; Her sisters: Jeri Ramos of Rio Linda, CA, Cynthia Engstrom of Glendale, AZ and Jeri Beth Ember of Simi Valley, CA; Her brothers: David Fleck of Chino Hills, CA, Jim Fleck of Vero Beach, FL, David Ember of Rossford, OH, and Tom Ember of Rossford, OH; Her grandson Giovanni Vasquez of Simi Valley, CA and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents George Ember Jr. and Sharon Fleck Ember.
