Obituary of Ashley Caines

Please share a memory of Ashley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Ashley was born on November 29, 1991, in Panorama City, California. She grew up in the San Fernando Valley and spent a few of those childhood years in North Pole, Alaska as well.

Ashley had the most beautiful soul, whose love and compassion for others and animals was simply honest and true blue.

She worked at Sand Canyon Animal Hospital as a vet tech with her dear friend Dr. Bassi. Her love for the clients at work, all animals and her own pets was absolutely immeasurable. And she was always there for friends and family to help with any pet needs that she possibly could. All while being a wife, homemaker, and caring for her two beautiful children as well.

In the early morning hours of Sunday, May 22, 2022, Ashley Nicole Caines rejoined her Heavenly Family and gained her glorious wings. She was thirty years old.

Ashley is preceded in death, two days apart by her Grandmother, Sandra K Hinkle Hector. Also preceded by her Grandmother Connie R. Caines who instilled her family values and helped raise Ashley until her own passing.

Ashley Caines is survived by her Soulmate in life, Jesse Hererres, their two children, Lil' Jesse and Abigail, as well as her Grandfather, Fredrick Caines Sr., her Father, Fredrick Caines Jr., her Mother, Tricia L. Hinkle Gilbert, her Auntie/Mom, Janice Caines, her stepmother, Tina Caines, her Brothers, Fredrick Caines III., & Zachary Sweetland, and her Sister Amber Tapia/Hahn. Not to mention countless other Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and the entire Hererres Family.

Some people only walk this earth for a short time. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us.

Ashley's viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from 6:30-9pm at The Rose Family Mortuary, 4444 Cochran Street, Simi Valley.

Funeral Service and Celebration of Life will be held at The Palmdale Fin & Feather Club in Palmdale, CA. On Sunday, June 5th, 2022 from 2:30pm to sundown.
