Obituary of Allan Olarte Valdellon
Allan Olarte Valdellon, age 70, passed away in the presence of family on September 24, 2022 in Simi Valley, CA after a courageous battle with congestive heart failure.
Allan was born on February 21, 1952 in Laguna, Philippines to the parents of Lorenzo Valdellon and Gregoria Olarte. He graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with his Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery. Allan recently retired from the medical field after a successful career as a heart transplant surgeon, director of organ and tissue donation services, and a medical professional throughout the Los Angeles and Chicagoland areas.
Allan grew up surrounded by his large family and was the youngest boy with 7 siblings and several nieces and nephews. He is survived by 2 children, 4 grandchildren, and numerous others. He was a loving dedicated father to his children and an even more excellent grandfather to his grandchildren. Allan loved to spoil his grandchildren as much as he could.
He loved his family so much but besides spending time with his family, Allan had a passion for food, traveling, exercising, skiing, and adventure. He had a charismatic, joyful, optimistic, humble, humorous spirit and was known to be the light of any gathering. Allan was always full of smiles and laughter. He touched many lives with just an initial encounter.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life gathering on Monday October 10th @ 10:00a at Lighthouse Church located at 3353 Old Conejo Rd Newbury Park CA 91320.
