Obituary of Lora Lynn Humphreys

Lora Lynn Humphreys, age 79, died of cardiopulmonary Arrest, pneumonia, non small cell lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and covid 19 on September 5, 2022, at Los Robles Hospital, Thousand Oaks, CA, 91360.

Lora is survived by her husband, Douglas A Humphreys, her Daughter Deborah Ward of John Kemsley and Lora Humphreys and her son John Kemsley jr of John Kemsley and Lora Humphreys, of first marriage. Lora has one step son Scott Humphreys, who is the son of Douglas Humphreys.

Lora was born on 2-17-1943 in Las Vegas, Nevada, to parents, Charlie Miester and Elisie Miester. 

Lora was a great wife and mother and grandmother.  She had 2 children from previous marriage with John Kemsley.

Lora was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in her soroity and family life for the majority of her life. She enjoyed traveling, rodeos, concerts, family and friends and target shooting. Her family and friends will always remember her as a wonderful and kind, giving person.

A funeral Service is scheduled for October 11, 2022, at 11:30 AM,  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lora Humphreys’s life. The family would like to thank you.  Services will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home, 4444 Cochran St. Simi Valley, CA 93063
