Obituary of Gary Thomas

Gary Russell Thomas, of Simi Valley, Ca passed away on Friday, November 4 th , 2022 at the age of 70.
 

Gary was the first born of Russell and Delores Thomas. He was one of three children. Gary grew up in
the San Fernando Valley, and lived in Simi Valley and in Acton. He graduated from Polytechnic and
attended LA Valley College. Gary was a naturally talented artist.
 

He enjoyed walking, watching movies, and going to the swap meet. Gary was part of the Sidewinders
racing club. He loved being part of the race crew at the Booneville Salt Flats.
 

Gary is survived by his sister, Cindy, and numerous first cousins and their families.
 

A memorial will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home, November 18 th , with a reception to follow.

His ashes will be scattered at a later time, at Genoa Bluffs, Iowa and Booneville Utah near the salt flats.
