Obituary of Judy Kay Walgren
Judy Walgren was born September 2nd, 1943 and passed away on November 25th, 2022 in her family home in Simi Valley. She was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to Warren and Mary Rowe as the youngest of 3 siblings, with older sister Darlene, and older brother Gary. She grew up in Menominee, Michigan and relocated with her family to Southern California in her teen years. She attended James Monroe High School in North Hills, CA in the San Fernando Valley. Little did she know, a short distance away at Birmingham High School, was a very special someone she would meet while babysitting for a neighborhood family. She went on to marry the love of her life, Timothy Walgren, on July 28th, 1962 and they had three children, Matthew, Daniel(wife Denise), and Jonathan(wife Laurie). The family moved from Reseda to Simi Valley in 1969 where she lived in the same home until the time of her passing. She took great pride in being a homemaker and raising her 3 boys in a loving environment. Judy and Tim were inseparable for over 52 years and shared an incredible love until Tim’s passing in 2014. She has 8 grandchildren, Kimberly, Michael, Anna, Emily, Jane, Tim, Noah and Ethan, 2 step grandchildren, Kailey and Karly, and 1 great grandchild, Aiden. Judy was a loving, kind, and generous person to whomever she met, and left a lasting impression on many. She will be greatly missed but we are comforted to know that she is with Tim again for eternity.
