Dear Gabriella, Christina, and Marta's family: I have tried to attend the livestream but have been unsuccessful. My deepest condolences. I knew Marta to be a lively woman, always enthusiastic about her hikes, and, interested in keeping contact with Sweden and especially the Swedish language. She was a creative person and, I believe, used that gift in working with her children when they were young, her grandchildren, and especially with her son, Carl, to whom she remained deeply devoted throughout his life. May God watch over her, Earlene

Dearest Marta, you will so be missed! All of our phone conversations throughout Covid started with you asking questions — always so eager and interested in what 8 was up to or what I thought.
