These pictures speak a thousand words... her love for the beach, her love for her family and friends, her love for Christmas and cooking and making ravioli, her love for wine and most importantly her love for adventure and to never miss out on anything, even if it meant a little roller coaster ride at a kids place to make your great grandson happy. I’ll cherish everything about you and miss you so much! Thanks for the wonderful memories!

Betty was like the welcoming breeze on a summers day… She smiled and opened her arms and heart to each of us. We were always welcome and taken in as one of her family. Her love was reflected so brightly in the lives of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and those blessed by her friendship. Truly a jewel of a lady. May God continue to bless you in His kingdom in heaven. You live forever in our hearts, and we look forward to reuniting in celebration of our Lord and Savior.

Auntie Betty…this is for you.. xoxo
Together again
It was a love of a loving kind
Sealed with a ring
Forever each others Valentine
They were young and beautiful
Italian and tough, yet both they were…soft to the touch
They had a love that would carry
when life got rough…
and it got rough
46 years of love frozen in time
Until now
Somehow
Together again
It was a love shared with a family in mind
Four beautiful babies would come in time
3 sweet boys and a sweet little girl came to them both …What A loving surprise
All 4 visions of love in their loving parents eyes
46 years of love frozen in time
Until now
Somehow
Together again
Dad went first
While Mom stayed behind
A life filled with love
Loving each new great grand baby that would come in time
18 and counting
Love of the most precious kind
46 years of love frozen in time
Until now
Somehow
Together again
When it’s our time we say
to each other
it’s the end
We cry tears of sadness
We find comfort in a friend
For these two I say
For these two I recommend
Cry not tears of sadness
Cry tears of joy instead
For they are now together again
46 years of a love frozen in time
Until now
Somehow
Spent their 70th wedding Anniversary
Together again….
What a beautiful way to see their loving love story End.
Xoxoxoxoxo
All my love to
My beautiful Auntie Betty and Uncle Jerry
My you rest in peace and in love together again
forever.
Xoxo
Love your Niece,

Betty was a beautiful person. I was fortunate to meet her and Jerry because both my mom and dads family knew Betty, Biz and Edith when they lived in Chicago. Both her and Jerry were part of my family because of the connection from Chicago and Lena, Cheech and the Petrilli family. God bless Betty and her family.

Betty was such a wonderful person. I met Betty through my husband Frank Guerrero. There were many special gatherings with the Apodaca’s, Plouffe’s, Comstock’s around the Mateko family dining room table. Betty was a fantastic cook. Time has drifted, we moved to Camarillo and Frank has passed away. I feel honored to have had Betty for a friend and will treasure memories forever. Rest in peace Betty - you are loved ❤️
Love always, Linda Guerrero

I don't know where to start. There are so many memories flooding my Head about Betty! We all grew up together the Family's consisted of The Mateko's, The Apodaca's, The Plouffe's and The Guerrero's. We were always having pool parties when we were kids barbequing, playing all of the fun things you can imagine. We had so much fun! Good times. When we were in the pool Betty was always in there with all of us and such a great sport. Us as kids we loved cannonballing Betty she would laugh and hold on to the side of the pool in the shallow end. A few years later we found out that Betty could'nt swim! Boy did I feel bad but she never led on and was a Great Sport! I remember her cooking for everyone, we were never without food that's for sure I think it's an Italian thing! Good Times for sure! Betty always had a smile on her face and loved having fun and was game for anything! She was a Superstar in my eyes. Her sweet sweet smile and laughter just lit up a room! She was the life of the party and loved having fun! My Mom (Chickie) and Betty had the opportunity of living next to each other. My mom would drive everywhere they went to lunch, shopping and did lots of things together. Every Friday night was card games with the neighbors. Betty always brought appetizer trays over. My Mom was so happy to have Betty her best friend living next to her. Betty loved her Peach Bellini's and we were happy to bring them to her on occasion. She appreciated everything so much! The most important thing in Betty's Life was her Family! One of the many things I loved her for. When she moved into her condominium she was so happy she used to walk to Ralphs Market and along her walk there was a Donkey named Barney. The owners of Barney told Betty that Barney had a sweet tooth and of course when Betty walk to the Grocery she always picked up treats for Barney he loved mini oreo cookies. Everytime he saw Betty he would come running to her and was so happy to see her. Betty was with my Mom everyday when my Dad got sick , she would just go and sit with my Mom and Dad for hours, I will never forget that! Betty I will never forget everything that I love about and miss you everyday, I can still hear your voice and the candle you gave me is lit every night for you. I have so many more memories I could go on all day. I know that you are up there with God and now you are an Angel! One last thing is you are with your Husband Jerry, My Dad John, Al Plouffe and Frank Guerrero and if I know you Betty so loving and funny you are up there cracking the whip to keep them all in shape!
We think of you everyday With so much Love and Happiness and will Always,
Thank you so much for being in our Lives we are truly Honored!
With all of our Love Always & Forever
Chickie & Deb

Most of my childhood, teen and adult memories revolved around our families. The Plouffes, the Matekos, the Apodacas and the Comstocks, holiday gatherings and family weekends, friday earlybird dinners and lots of great food, especially Betty's lasagna, games like bocci ball, pinochle and baseball. Betty was always a kind and loving soul, she will be missed
