The Sabrina I knew was the definition of what little girls are made of:
sugar and spice and everything nice—loving and giving, good and kind, a truly gentle spirit—not a mean bone in her body!
She loved everything sunshine and rainbows and she refused to dwell on anything less.
I’m reminded of
Philippians 4:8 that says
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
And as she walked through her life’s trials, I believe she did just that, always choosing to love and think on the better things in life even in the face of her at times, hellacious journey.
Her example encourages everyone of us to do the same especially when we think of her:
meditate on whatever is noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy because these things were a reflection of her very heart.
While I am saddened and send my sincere condolences, I know this isn’t goodbye, it’s “until we meet again, Sabrina!”
