Obituary of Manuel Vicente Rodriguez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Manuel Rodriguez, a beloved father, husband, and grandfather, who left us peacefully on October 3rd, 2024. Born on March 30, 1938, in Bogotá, Colombia, Manuel lived a life filled with love, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family. 

Manuel was a pillar of strength and wisdom. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and compassion, always offering a helping hand and a warm smile. A proud Colombian, he carried his heritage with him wherever he went, sharing his rich culture and values with those around him. 

As a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Manuel’s greatest joy was his family. He raised his children with love, patience, and understanding, instilling in them the importance of hard work, respect, and unity. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them, offering endless love and guidance. 

Manuel’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. 

To commemorate his remarkable life and the memories we cherish, a service will be held at Rose Funeral Home, Simi Valley, CA, on Monday October 14th at 6:30 Pm. We welcome all who knew him to join us in celebrating the life of a man who was loved deeply and will be missed. 

Manuel will be forever remembered for his generous spirit, gentle soul, and the deep love he gave to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Manuel Rodríguez, un amado padre, esposo y abuelo, quien nos dejó pacíficamente el 3 de octubre de 2024. Nacido el 30 de marzo de 1938 en Bogotá, Colombia, Manuel vivió una vida llena con amor, generosidad y devoción inquebrantable hacia su familia. 

Manuel fue un pilar de fortaleza y sabiduría. Tocó la vida de muchas personas con su amabilidad y compasión, ofreciendo siempre una mano amiga y una cálida sonrisa. Un colombiano orgulloso, llevó su herencia a donde quiera que fuera, compartiendo su rica cultura y valores con quienes lo rodeaban. 

Como devoto esposo, padre y abuelo, la mayor alegría de Manuel era su familia. Crio a sus hijos con amor, paciencia y comprensión, inculcándoles la importancia del trabajo duro, el respeto y la unidad. Sus nietos eran su orgullo y alegría, y apreciaba cada momento que pasaba con ellos, ofreciéndoles amor y orientación infinitos. 

El legado de Manuel vivirá en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron. 

Para conmemorar su extraordinaria vida y los recuerdos que atesoramos, se llevará a cabo un servicio en Rose Funeral Home, Simi Valley, CA, el lunes 14 de octubre a las 6:30 p.m. Damos la bienvenida a todos los que lo conocieron a unirse a nosotros para celebrar la vida de un hombre que fue amado profundamente y al que extrañaremos. 

Manuel será recordado para siempre por su espíritu generoso, su alma gentil y el profundo amor que brindó a todos los que lo conocieron. Lo extrañaremos mucho, pero su recuerdo vivirá en los corazones de quienes lo amaron.
