Obituary of Susanne Daveen Delaveaux

With tears and in loving memory of Susanne Daveen Delaveaux, her family announces her transition on November 02,2024, Dia de Muertos, in North Hills, California. She was born on November 05, 1967 in Chula Vista, California and resided in southern California her entire life. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Sue Rackley, her father, David George Loose and her brother, David Gary Loose. Susanne is survived by her son, Daniel Delaveaux of Pasadena, California, her sisters Debora Clow of Colorado, Sheila Perkins of Arizona, and Saundria Small of Oklahoma. She is also survived by her partner Anthony Caiola of North Hills, California and her beloved puppy Sadie along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

With beauty and intelligence, Susanne lived her life ambitiously toward all of her passions. She loved music tremendously and since a teenager, attended many live concerts, some of which, she wrote articles on and published in local rock magazines. She herself was even on the cover of one said a long time friend of hers.

Susanne lived generously in helping others. She was a great gift giver and was thoughtful in making another feel special whether a birthday, holiday or, believe it or not, driving across two states just to ensure a friend got back home. Being best friends with her partner for over a decade, Susanne knew the value of what it meant to be important within a partnership. She was an exemplar of the dedication required to be successful. Without a doubt, the greatest gift Susanne ever knew in her life is her son. He was her world and she strived diligently to lead him to find the best that life could offer.

Many dear friends Susanne had, some of whom, for ten, twenty, thirty and even fifty years. She knew the meaning of unconditional love and she gave it. As such, her family wishes to express their heartfelt and sincere gratitude to her friends and loved ones for giving their love and support unhesitatingly throughout Susanne’s life but especially at the end of it. Thank you all. May Susanne be remembered and ever celebrated in Light and Love. “The song is ended but the melody lingers on.” said Irving Berlin. Indeed it clearly does.
