There is no experience as painful as loss. While we know in our hearts that death is a reality we will all face, it still seems crushing when it reaches out to embrace one we love. And when it takes someone as vibrant and luminous as Angie, one cannot help but discern a dimming of the stars. She brought a radiance to this world, like a blazing moon against the blackness of the night sky. And when such brilliance is taken from us, that darkness can seem overwhelming. The brighter the light…the deeper the shadow. She was elegant in every sense of the word. And beyond her warm laughter was a heart that gave freely…enhancing the lives of all who knew her. What made her lovely was something more resplendent than her stylish attire or her charming smile…for I believe true beauty is invisible to the eye. Angie, you walked this Earth with honor, and now Heaven is honored to receive you. One day…we will all discover that ‘death’ is not what we might imagine. But then…neither is life.
