I met "Aunt Fia" three times at parties held at the Millers. I always enjoyed seeing her, though I knew very little about her. What I enjoyed so much was watching her watching all of the little ones playing and having fun. Her face lit up like a bright, warm candle. Her picture that is posted is beautiful. Her obituary warms my heart for this is the story of a woman who loved, was loved and participated in the joy of her family. What better legacy! Shalom, Sophia!
I understand how her passing may be so painful now. But I believe that in time this pain will leave and be replaced by the incredible memories merely outlined in her beautiful tribute.
