Obituary of Sally Elaine Sacyznski (Mackelburg)

Sally E. Saczynski (Mackelburg), 78, of Simi Valley, CA passed away on June 26th, 2015 at her home in Simi Valley, with her family by her side. She was born Sally Elaine Bruggeman on December 17, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to her father Gerald Bruggeman and mother Betty Dunn. Sally married Robert Mackelburg on February 23, 1957. They stayed married until his death on January 1, 1976. She married her present husband Johnny Saczynski on November 11, 1984 and recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. Sally and Johnny worked together operating Johnny’s Appliance in Simi Valley, for the last 35 years. She previously held positions working for the telephone company, Simi Rubbish, Atlas Travel and as a newscaster for Simi’s Local News Channel 8. She was also involved with the community of Simi Valley as a life member of the PTA and Chamber of Commerce, Santa Susana Boys Baseball and a permanent member with the boys club of Simi Valley. She loved painting, traveling, collecting antiques, and spending time with her family. She is truly loved and will be dearly missed by her surviving family. Husband, Johnny, sons, Dennis, Mike (Michelle), David, James (Stacey), Jerry (Lisa), William (Paula) and Kevin. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rachel, Lindsay, Thomas, Kenny, Sara, Tara, Amanda, Robbie, Brooke, Kristen, and Presley. Whom she loved all very much. Services will be held on July 1, 2015 at Rose Family Funeral Home in Simi Valley from 4-8pm with services at 6pm.
