Hello, my name is Dale. Chris and I were best friends back in the mid 80's. We went to school together. We hung out all the time at my house, or his. We even went on a YMCA trip to Yosemite together. Unfortunately, we lost touch over the years. The loss of Chris is a complete shock to me. If anyone from the family sees this, please feel free to reach out to me.

I went to school with Chris at Coutin School. I never stayed in touch but I'm really sad to hear that Chris is no longer with us. I related to Chris so much, and he had such a big heart. I sincerely hope his family has found some peace. Please accept my condolence. -Ian

Ashley, this is your grandma Donna writing. I got on line to see if you and your dad still lived in Port Hueneme and saw his obituary. I was shocked. Your dad was so full of life - it seems impossible he is gone and I am so very sorry for you and your families loss. Over the years I lost contact with you and your dad. Cards I sent were not acknowledged. Ashley if you get this condolence and would like to have contact with me please email me and let me know what your address is. I would love a recent picture of you. The last time I saw you was at your grandpa Leo's funeral - five years ago. I can only imagine how much you have changed. I'm shocked and saddened to hear of Chris's passing. I can vividly recall the many times we played together growing up and Chris's infectious laughter. In our adult lives we only connected on a few occasions at weddings and such, but I remember our kindred spirit that only family knows. i only knew Chris from our days at Meadow Oaks school. We weren't good friends and I didn't know him very well, however, from what I did know about Chris is that he was a strong willed person . He had a presence about him. His confidence was beyond his years and he had an infectious smile! Condolences to his family !
