Robert Marvin Parker, 86, of Simi Valley, went to the Lord on Tues. Jan.3, 2012. He went peacefully in his sleep.
Robert was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on March 12, 1925, to Charles and Teresa Parker. He was married to Rosalie on June 30,1946, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
He served in the U.S Navy for 4 years and was in World War II. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and loved to Golf and Woodwork. He was very talented and loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rosalie, 2 Sisters, Daughter Cherie (Mike), Son Michael (Kathy), Daughter Kathleen (Larry), Daughter Pamela (Mark), Daughter Nancy, Son Robert (Joni) and 16 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at 2:00pm, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2949 Alamo Street, Simi Valley, CA.
In lieu of Flowers, please make a donation to the American Heart Assoc./ Veterans.
Assisting the family with arrangements is the family owned and operated Rose Family Funeral Home and Cremation.
