Sad to see this, and really loved the beautiful eulogy. Lyle was a great guy who had a huge heart...he taught me how to "properly handwash Tupperware....until it was clean"... I'm sorry for his passing and grateful for his Influence on so many

Lyle's prescence in my life growing up made a huge difference and helped me become the person I am today. His wisdom and guidance I now pass on to my own children. I'm a so grateful that Gracie and Mia got to know Lyle and spend time feeding the fish with him. Such a wonderful man that I was blessed to know. He will be missed by so many but his enormous legacy lives on in all of us. I love you so much Pat. Sending a big hug your way.

Dear Means family members, Heartfelt thoughts to you from Connecticut. A life well-lived is a precious gift. It's filled with moments sweet and sad, with smiles and sometimes tears, with friendships formed and good times shared and laughter through the years. A life well-lived is a legacy of joy and pride and pleasure...a loving lasting memory. As I read Lyle's obituary, it certainly sounds like a life well-lived. Heartfelt sympathy to you and your family...every special memory truly does live on. Everything you shared...is still there. so, we send condolences from the other side of the country, our thoughts are with you and we pray that you'll find a lasting and loving comfort in the blessing of every cherished memory.

Our lives are ultimately measured by the contributions we made in other people's lives as opposed to success and wealth we amassed. Your father clearly made differences in people's lives that mattered most. These memories will shine for the rest of his survivors. My condolences and best wishes for all his friends and loved ones.

Such a beautifully written summary of a life well lived. I'm so thankful to have known Lyle and his amazing family. My love and prayers go out to Pat, Danny, Christy and the entire family. There will be a void in your lives, I encourage you to honor Lyle's memory by filling the void with love and laughter, I imagine that's how he would want it!
Thanks for sharing sweet details in this obituary, I had no idea Pat and Lyle married only a month after they met! What an amazing love they had- not many marriages make it over 50 years these days! What an example and legacy has been left!
Blessing,
Steve and Heidi

I've known Lyle since 1970, where we worked together for 20 years. Lyle was one the most honest, trustworthy and respected man I've ever had the pleasure of calling my friend. My heart goes out to his family for their loss and for anyone who knew this good man. Rest In Peace Lyle.
