I'm so sorry I saw this late. Last night my family and I were at dinner and I bumped into an old friend from the Simi Valley Adult School. He told me the news that Marsha had passed a few years ago. I was so shocked to hear. I used to be a student assistant in the computer graphics department back in 1997-98 and Marsha was not only the best instructor, but an amazing human being. She helped everyone out so much. She had so much talent in technology, AutoCAD in particular along with many other programs. Last time I saw her was in I believe 2013 right before the birth of my child. I went to visit her to say hello as I had just left my previous job. I'm so bummed that I didn't get a chance to visit her again. My condolences go out to the family and friends. RIP Marsha.

Please accept my condolences on your loss. As a friend of Ed Labadie, I met Marsha on several occasions many years ago and always thought of her very fondly. She was always gracious and friendly and had a great sense of humor.

I offer my most sincere condolences to the entire family at the tragic loss of Marsha. I was able to share in her life for about 6 years, watched her dear children grow up during some of their most precious formative years, and I will forever treasure and cherish those meaningful memories. I retain the highest admiration for Marsha's bright mind, determination, vision, and ground-breaking accomplishments. May she rest in peace, and may all of you find the strength to cope with this shocking loss. Sincerely, Ed Labadie, ed@edlabadie.com, 503 372-5663

I've known Marsha for almost a year. She was my Graphics Design teacher. I always came to her for a monthly check in and advice for how to prepare myself for a career. She helped me out so much and I will never forget the last words she spoke to me on Thursday, January 19. She told me I had great potential as an artist. Her last words to me were "Come see me when you're done with Illustrator and we'll work together on a plan for InDesign." I know she would've been proud of all of her students, continuing our work without her and pushing forward. No amount of words can express how sorry I am for the family's loss. I am still in shock. She seemed like a lady full of life and passionate in almost everything she did. I loved how passionate she was about animals. To Marsha, thank you so much for mentoring me. I will never forget what you told me. To the family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Marsha was my teacher for Web Design/Web Development from 2014 to late 2015. She was such a cool teacher, so welcoming and kept me interested throughout my entire course. I never wanted to miss her lectures, otherwise I would hear from her the next day. Aside from talking projects, we hung out talked animals, health and nutrition.. She was like the classmate that motivated the entire room. I am truly sadden and still shocked over the tragic news... I will truly miss her. With out Marsha, I would have never completed my course nor I would be where I am at today. I will not let her efforts and teachings go in vain.
Thank you for everything Marsha.
Rest in Paradise.
-Randall

Marsha was a good friend. We shared a love of technology snd always seemed to be on the same page. I loved her optimism and her easy laughter, her dedication to her family and her love of her fur babies. The world is a darker place without her light.

Loosing Marsha the way we did was tragic for all who knew her. Simi Institute for Careers and Education will have a huge void in our Computer Graphics program without Marsha. She loved to teach and her students appreciated her wealth of knowledge. She served our school for 21 years and she will be missed by all of us!
Our sincere sympathies to the family.

I worked with Marsha for 17 years and she was one of the first co-workers I got to know well enough to consider a friend. Marsha was an incredibly intelligent, thoughtful, helpful, hardworking, and fun lady. It always brightened my day to see her at work. I'll miss sharing thoughts and laughs with her...I already miss her dearly.
