Obituary of Margaret Mary O'Hern

Heaven has been blessed with an Angel. Margaret Mary (Peggy) O'Hern born October 25, 1933 entered eternal life in paradise August 2, 2017.
Peggy was born in Cootehill, Ireland and immigrated to New York via Ellis Island at the young age of 15 together with her brother Michael, 16.
She was a dedicated wife to John Patrick O'Hern for 32 years until his death in 1990. A loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who created 5 children: John (Dhel), Brian, Maureen (Brian), Kathleen (Gene), and Margie (Chad). 7 Grandchildren: Erin, Kristen, Danny, Shawn, Katie, Madison and Chloe. 4 Great Grandchildren: Aiden, Ronnie, Quinn and Josiah.
A selfless woman whose positive can-do attitude included famous words to live by "There's always a way". This has been the foundation of her children's lives to this day. She had a saying for everything and shared her love for music with all of her "little honeys" through song, dance and nursery rhymes. 
Our mother's sense of humor and one-liners touched and impacted everyone she met. She wore many hats including Boy Scout Den Mother, Sunday School Teacher, Coach and Homemaker who also managed to find time for a 30 year career in Banking.
Mom was a true angel from the moment she joined this world until she earned her wings. Her values, kind spirit, positive outlook and sense of humor will live on forever through her family and close friends.
