Obituary of Dean Marcum

Dean Marcum, 49, of Simi Valley, CA, passed away on August 15, 2017.

Dean was born in Houston, Texas to Carolyn and Eddy Marcum on May 22, 1968. He went to high school at El Camino High School and graduated in 1986. He went on to college at UC Irvine. He worked as a Global Sales Manager for Frontier Electronics and Business Supplier Manager for RFMW. He enjoyed classic cars restoration, traveling, electronics and especially spending time with family and friends.
Dean is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Marcum; his children Caitlynn, Wyatt, Keith, Brandon, and Alec; his mother Carolyn and step-father Ray Hofker and his father Eddy and step-mother Jenny Marcum; his siblings Susan Hofker, John Hofker and Ray Jr. Hofker; his uncles in Texas: Danny and Susan Naskey, Mark Naskey, Kenneth Marcum, Charles Marcum, and Jerry Marcum; his aunt Kim Naskey and his cousin Amber Naskey in Texas and his cousin Janice Engel in Pennsylvania. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to our caring family, relatives, and friends.

Funeral service will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home, 4444 Cochran Street, Simi Valley, CA 93063 on Saturday, August 19, 2017, from 6 pm to 9 pm with Vigil at 7 pm.
