Dana was born January 29, 1955 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Dellwyn and Marion (Hamilton) Rheaume. He graduated from El Camino High School in West Hills, CA. Dana was employed as a Senior Project Estimator in a large electrical contracting firm for many years. Prior to working in electrical, he worked in special effects for the movies.
Dana spent his spare time doing what he loved—golfing and singing/playing bass in a band called the Pot Bellied Stoves. Dana was an accomplished golfer, tennis player and skier. He loved to paint and also loved to act. He’s joined multiple theatre groups—from Shakespeare in the Park in Malibu, to Conejo Players and the Moorpark College Theater group. He was also in the CSUN choir. He loved motorcycle riding and all kinds of music from country to classical. He enjoyed cooking and was known for making his mother’s pasta. He loved watching corny science fiction films, too. Dana was a member of Los Robles Golf Course and the Elks Club. He also deeply loved and enjoyed spending time with his two sons, Slade and Kyle. Dana will be missed by many, but never forgotten.
Dana is survived by his two young adult sons, Slade Robert Rheaume and Kyle Dell Rheaume; his sisters Laura Meehan and Andrea Jenks and his brother Larry Rheaume. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Craig.
