Oh gosh so very sad to hear about sweet Liz - I only heard today so sadly I have missed the celebration of life. I worked with Liz here at Air New Zealand and she was always a pleasure to work with. I am Danish and I enjoyed our talks to each other in our languages which no one else understood. My deepest condolences to all of her family, Liz was always so wonderful to be around.

How fitting the statement "she grew younger as she grew older". As I only got to know Liz in the past 6 years or so, she was an absolute gem of a person. I will forever hold our crazy Octoberfest weekends in my most cherished memories but my most endeared memory of them all will be Swedish Christmas. I am so thankful for that wonderful weekend with Liz....shining like the brightest one in the room! You could tell how proud she was that this tradition was not only going strong in her own family, but that the Swedish Pride was being shared with friends.
May you be at peace, Liz, doing the crazy chicken dance in heaven!
Love,
Suzanne

They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near.
Sill loved, still missed and very dear.
Thanks to Lisbeth, we have gotten an amazing relationship with our family in LA. Always a warm welcome when we visit and many shared adventures and fun memories.

Memories from the time in Gothenburg when Lisbeth, Erik and Stina came to visit from Lidköping. They all lived with us in our apartment. Nisse and I slept in the kitchen couch and Lisbeth who was used to having her own bed back home wanted that here aswell. So Nisse put two armchairs together to make a small bed that Lisbeth could sleep in. She had problem saying "fåtölj" in swedish (armchair), so she called it "soffmåtölj". Lisbeth slept in the "soffmotölj" everytime she came to visit us in Gothenburg.
Missing not being able to share and talk about these memories with Lisbeth now. I will always miss you.
Love, Moster Greta

Hey Liz - all the laughs we had until we almost cried made 'work' a little easier. I thought for sure you still had a few lives left in your '9 lives' you always joked about. I bet you're toasting a G&T to all of us about now!

My deepest sympathy to the entire family on the loss of such an important and vital member of your family. I will always remember Liz fondly from our houseboat trips and my "timely" drop-ins on Christmas eve so I can partake in your wonderful Swedish Christmas tradition. Yvonne and Anette - you honor her spirit so well by living your lives fully and will love for your family and friends. I cannot think of a better legacy for Liz. Love you both!
