John and I want to send our condolences to our wonderful, kind and loving friend Sue and the entire Cass family. We are heartbroken that we cannot be there with you today. We had the privilege of getting to know Ed throughout the years both through Tennis and our mutual passion for the Oregon Ducks! Each time I saw Ed he was warm, welcoming and wicked funny. I connected with his sardonic humor and appreciated his wry wit, in spite of the fact that he teased me and Sue relentlessly about the intensity with which we strategized for our upcoming tennis matches. He got a kick out of that. He was a loving and proud father, a dedicated husband and a superb chef whose culinary talents we all enjoyed on numerous occasions. John and I are so grateful that we got to know him and even had the opportunity to spend time with his parents Ed and Sally Cass at our home when the Ducks were in a bowl game. We are sending our love and prayers. May you find peace. John and Laura Reiland
